In 1980, Athina and Vasilis Makrygiannis launch PETRADI, a jewelry store dedicated to fine gold jewelry with precious stones, which quickly becomes a point of reference for high quality jewelry.
In 1999, Vasilis Makrygiannis becomes one of the few graduates of GIA in Greece, earning the title of Graduate Gemologist (G.G.). He establishes a gem laboratory where every diamond and precious stone is carefully examined and verified.
PETRADI features a fully equipped gemological laboratory where precise evaluations of precious stones are conducted. It is also the only jewelry store in Greece with three certified gemologists – diamond experts, ensuring specialized knowledge and reliability.
